The ICT Department (Information and Communication Technology) of the Ministry of Commerce, Industries and Investment of the Northeastern State of Somalia is responsible for managing and developing the ministry’s digital infrastructure and technology systems. The department ensures the availability, security, and efficiency of IT systems, networks, and databases that support daily operations. It also works to introduce modern digital solutions that improve service delivery, data management, and communication within the ministry.


In addition, the department plays a key role in developing and maintaining digital platforms such as websites, online registration systems, and e-government services.
